The only downside is that it's a soft bag meaning that you can't store pages of documents on their own as they'll just be crumpled.
It has a few pockets on the bag but I've managed to break the handle on one of the pocket zips as they're small and not heavy duty.
The fact that it has shoulder straps can be very useful when you need both hands fee, the bag can weigh upwards of 20Kg with the amount of gear it can hold. However it's only natural that all the gear inside will slump to the bottom and flat caps etc. can be crushed.
