Asp Tri-Fold Restraint Scarab cutters are compact, easily carried, lightweight and specifically designed for disposable restraints. They will cut through Asp Tri-folds and any other disposable restraint / plasticuff.
The main drawback of using disposable restraints is the requirement to use a blade to cutt them off. This creates not only an awkward task but also a dangerous situation to the suspect and the officer / soldier concerned. Scarrab cutters negate this as they cut cleanly through the restraint with any exposed blade being presented.
They fold away and snap discreetly onto a keyring.
