Bates M-9 Gore-Tex Assault Side Zip nine-inch boots are constructed with leather and nylon uppers. They are lined with Gore-Tex® and 200-gram Thinsulate™ insulation. These will give you not only more protection due to the high 9" leg but will also provide protection from the elements. A lightweight shock absorbing midsole helps keep feet comfortable, while an aggressive Vibram® Mutant outsole provides outstanding traction. Featuring non-metallic components these boots are ideal for travel in high security environments. Due to the side zip, these boots can be put on quickly, overcoming the extra time it normally takes to put a pair of high-leg boots on. This makes them a good choice for police or 'on-call' personnel.
