The Gerber CRT Cuff Cutter is designed to cut plasti-cuffs / disposable restrains from detainees without exposing a blade. The small compact and lightweight tool is rugged and robust enough to withstand daily usage a hundred times over.

It hooks onto the strap of the cuffs to hold them in place while cutting. It features spring loaded handles and allows one handed usage for security purposes. The hook is small so it's easier to use on tightly applied restraints. The cutter is much safer and easier to use than a set of pliers or a blade.

Its lightweight and rugged handles are made from nylon and the blade is protected from exposure. It has ergonomic handles with finger groove and lanyard hole.

This is an excellent bit of kit for use on large scale arrest ops or in a public order role.
