The water-resistant Gerber Mongoose™ light offers five different colours to let you accomplish nearly any task at hand.

The inclusion of blue and UV light options make it perfect for police and military use - although for different reasons.

The  rotating dial lets you choose from five different coloured 5mm LEDs to meet your lighting needs and these illuminate up to 12m (30 ft.).

White light can be used for normal use while red is for when you want to preserve your night vision. Green can be used for map reading. These are an ideal combination for military operational use.

It is the Blue and UV light that makes this light great for police. These colours can be used in crime scene analysis as they detect bodily fluids and some controlled drugs. For a PC employed on normal duties, this light will asist with initial responses to incidents such as fresh complaints.

Its design is well thought through. The flexible band with magnetic clip and rip-and-stick strip lets you attach the light to just about anything, including your clothing or police / ops vest, or it can be detached and used as a small torch. It has an on / off push button that allows temporary lighting and the sliding switch offers permanent lighting.

It runs on two CR2032 lithium batteries which provide up to 30 hrs operation and are included.
