The Peli VersaBrite 3 LED provides hands-free illumination and a pivoting head to direct the light to your area of focus. The spring loaded clip allows you to connect it to shirts, caps, pockets, duty vests or any other part of your uniform, and as it is very light it will not pull down on your clothes. At just 7.6cm in length it can easily be carried in a pocket, toolbox or glove compartment.
The VersaBrite 3 LED is activated simply by flipping the pivoting head upwards. Using two CR2032 coin-cell batteries, it gives around 100 hours of light per battery set. The LEDs will not need replacing.

I had one of these in my old force, so I bought myself one when I transferred. It's so useful for writing stuff out, batteries last ages and it has a great warranty along with being very durable.
Couple of points, it's useful but not bright enough to be your only torch if you work in rural areas. Also, consider possibly getting a black one if you want to be stealthy, I bought the yellow in case I dropped it and couldn't find it.

fantastic bit of kit. stays on stabbie even when rolling around with people. lights up a massive area and is more effective than issued torches.
