Knee pads are being used more and more in the British military as soldiers recognise the benefits of protecting their knees and being able to confidently and speedily drop into fire positions. FIBUA / FISH operations can be particularly hard on the knees.
These pads are good if you want to protect your knees but without having big lumps of plastic wrapped around them. The other benefit of having cordura only knee pads is that you can tuck them away easily in your bergan / pack until required.
