Our 5.11 TDU Trousers utilise ripstop material, which is good value for money, practical and hard wearing. They incorporate a self adjusting waist band for easy fit and comfort and feature removable neoprene knee pads making them ideal for duty. The large pockets can hold torches, radios or magazines for example. They are treateed with Teflon for dirt, liquid and stain resistance and bartacked and triple stitched in stress areas. They also feature a YKK zipper and a Prym snap.
The Helly Hansen stripes crew are iconic in the world of top performance base layers. This apparel is known worldwide for offering effective moisture management and lightweight comfort. For comfort, the skin needs to stay dry and LIFA base layers facilitate this. They are produced from polypropylene, which pushes moisture from the skin in order to keep the body warm and dry. This works on the theory of body heat transfer. LIFA utilises body heat to push forth moisture along the fibres to the external area of the garment, where any moisture evaporates. Polypropylene is also good for base layer clothing as it is lightweight and, soft on the skin, non-allergenic and a good insulator. Further, it also retains shape, allowing best fit for the individual. A close body fit, coupled with superb elasticity stops moisture being trapped between LIFA and skin therefore allowing free passage of heat and perspiration. Perhaps more importantly, LIFA is bacteria resistant, so even after extensive use, it doesn't retain odour. In summary, LIFA's Stay Dry technology performs and stays comfortable during intensive activities, the non-rubbing flatlock seams put paid to skin irritation and a close body fit aids moving sweat and heat away from the body.
We also stock leading clothing brands such as Blackhawk and Helly Hansen.
