The Maglite Torch 2D Cell is a classic! This is the smallest of the D-cell range, although this is not a disadvantage. It doesn't get in the way and some police forces limit officers to 2D cells. The Maglite Torch LED 3D Cell is the most advanced and recent addition to the Maglite range. The 3D cell is a fair mid-range size, substantial enough to fill the hand, yet not big enough to get in the way if running around. The LED range produce an even brighter light source than the traditional Maglite. Not only does it have a longer battery life and a more intense beam, but also has the same reliability, durability and superior performance that Maglite has a reputation for. The extended battery life means that in the long run, these torches will be less expensive. Features include focusing by rotating the head, 3 Watt LED, Intelligent Energy Source Management for extended battery life and high brightness, rugged machined aluminium case, water and shock resistance and an anodised interior and exterior for improved corrosion resistance.
The Maglite Solitaire Torch is the smallest of the Maglite family and is beautifully made. It runs on a single AAA battery and takes up very little room whilst having a worthwhile output. These are perfect for attaching to your keyring and prevent fumbling around for keys and keyholes! Features include an adjustable beam, machined aluminium construction, anodised inside and outside, an extended key lead that allows the light and a key to be used in the same direction, spare bulb in the housing tail cap, 'o' rings to provide water and shock resistance and has a burn time of 3.5 hours.
