The Gerber Dime Travel Multitool comes with, scissors, tweezers, pliers, wire cutters, bottle openers; you never know when you might need any of these.

Gerber Dime Travel Bladeless Multi Tool
The Gerber Dime Travel is a bladeless multi-tool on a keychain, making it safe for use in facilities with a 'no-knife' policy, as well as for the airport security line.
This travel multi-tool takes Gerber’s clever mini keychain multi-tool and adds features for use during and after air travel.
The Gerber Dime Travel is small at 2.8″ closed and it weighs 2.2 ounces. However don’t be fooled by it’s size, when the handles are rotated around to open, the Gerber Dime Travel has enough 'bite' to complete reasonable chores with it's pliers.
The Gerber Dime Traveller Legal carry Multi-Tool suspends neatly from a keychain and provides you with the tools you'll need to tackle most practical problems you will encounter on your journey.
The tiny, lightweight Gerber Dime Travel spins out assistance as and when needed.
In addition to stainless steel pliers and wire cutters that elegantly butterfly open, theGerber Dime Multitool also has a set of spring-loaded scissors, medium and small flat screwdrivers, tweezers, a bottle opener that is exposed even when the tool is closed, and a fine and coarse file.
The stand-out addition to this travel-friendly version of the classic Gerber Dime is the evolutionary zipper hook, which attaches to a broken luggage zipper in a pinch.
All the Gerber Dime Traveller’s tools snap out smartly and the pliers and scissors are spring-loaded. As the Gerber Dime Traveller is a bladeless multitool, the regular knife blade of other multi-tools in the Gerber range has been replaced with the zipper hook, which Gerber says, “…attaches to a broken luggage zipper for troubleshooting while travelling.”

Gerber Dime Bladeless Multi Tool Reviews
Customer reviews for The Gerber Dime Travel Bladeless Multi-Tool are very positive:
“I think this is a very good tool for the size. Not counting the bottle opener, it is slightly bigger than a leatherman squirt. Most of the tools between the two are quite similar, especially the nearly identical scissors. The main differences being that the gerber has a better bottle opener, and the package opener, while the leatherman has a nice file, and a knife blade. I do like that the gerber is available in all black. The quality of construction is excellent, and it looks way cool.”
“After getting the Gerber Dime, I saw there was a bladeless version out. It looks like this will compare to the Leatherman Style PS, except this has more tools.
The pliers are nice. There’s no wobble in them, and the wire cutters can cut a coat hanger (about the heaviest thing I’d try them on) without deforming. The pliers turn small bolts easily, and the needlenose part helps out as much as that on the Leatherman. The last 1/16″ of the needlenose are smooth, which is a welcome feature. The ability to grasp fine things is nice. The pliers are 1/8″ thick and are spring-loaded (one spring is in each handle). I like the spring feature. The pivot pin, for those interested, is 5/32″ thick. The pliers are the only “inside” tool; all of the other tools are accessed without opening the pliers.
None of the tools lock open, which I knew before buying, but is worth mentioning. Also, all of the tools open with a nail nick.
The bottle opener is fixed in position. It is the full thickness of the Dime, and does very well in opening bottles. It also makes a nice lightweight prying tool in general. Right underneath the bottle opener is a small tab. Pull it to reveal the tweezers. They’re very Wenger-like, in that they’re two pieces of metal, soldered together. The tweezers are 1-5/8″ long and meet at a 40-degree tip. They open to 1/8″ wide. They’re nice and springy, but will also hold fine items without flexing a lot.
The file is nice. It’s 1-1/2″ long and is ground on both sides. One side is double-cut while the other is single-cut; the underside isn’t cut at all, so you can’t groove with it or use it as a metal saw. It retains the ‘belly’ of the Dime’s blade.
The hook is also 1-1/2″ long, and they’re calling it a zipper puller. I’ve found a few uses for it, including tightening boot laces and retrieving small objects from under the car seat.
The black side of the handle contains:
The split ring is a bit small, but usable. I’ve had no problems with strength or durability in mine. The scissors are 1-1/2″ long with a 5/8″ cutting surface. They open to 3/8″ wide and are spring-loaded.
I like the Dime Travel. It seems that Gerber has tightened their quality control, and made a very useful product. Even though I don’t air travel much, I think this is a great set of tools. I normally have a knife (or four) on me anyways, so the lack of one here doesn’t bother me.”
